A PET'S TEN COMMANDMENTS..........

1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any separation from you is likely to be painful.

2. Give me time to understand what you want of me.

3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.

4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainment, but I have only you.

5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.

6. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
7. Before you hit me, before you strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.

9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.

10. On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.

I've said it before but if "Bear" had a nickel every time I took his picture fine tuning the camera, he'd be a millionaire.

Limbaugh:
"I want to know. I look at Iowa , I look at Illinois - I want to see the murders. I want to see the looting. I want to see all the stuff that happened in New Orleans . I see devastation in Iowa and Illinois thatdwarfs what happened in New Orleans . I see people working together.I see people trying to save their property...I don't see a bunch ofpeople running around waving guns at helicopters, I don't see a bunch ofpeople running shooting cops. I don't see a bunch of people raping people onthe street. I don't see a bunch of people doing everything theycan...whining and moaning-where's FEMA, where's BUSH. I see theheartland of America . When I look at Iowa and when I look at Illinois ,
I see the backbone of America ."

Spraying Roses

I finally got around to spraying roses. By talking to extension service and picking the brains of some of the garden shop folks I found a lot of growers use....regular dish washing liquid mixed in gallon sprayer. So I tried it.

I hope to see the mites doing the back stroke in my soapy mixture and NOT want to come back.

We'll see.

Update

Action pic
Action with telephoto

Shame on me....bad Bob

Well lets see....where to begin.

Another new Camera to help with the learning curve of the Canon.

It's another Panny this time the FZ18.Not a shirt pocket camera this time. This one I have been using every day, what a great camera. There is wide angle and telephoto build into this lens, and does a fabulous job at both.

Picture of field was taken wide angle and the pic of visiting team coach going thru gate was taken from same position but telephoto.

Learning new camera

I took this with new point and shoot. Panasonic DMC-TZ3

Not bad for a camera that fits in my shirt pocket. In my process of learning Canon XTi noticed a lot of photographers talking about their back-ups or every day cameras.

DSLR's are great for those shots where you lug around your cameras and lens and flashes and power grips and filters and extra batteries and etc etc

But that good quality point and shoot sure comes in handy when it is in your pocket and ready for that once in a life time, never to be repeated shot.
